Megan Hackett as Zahra
Megan Hackett is an actor, singer, dancer, DJ, comedian, musician and athlete who has appeared as a ﬁnalist on Food Network's popular cooking competition "Chopped Junior" in 2017. She has also ﬁlmed projects for Glamour, SELF and Allure and has been featured alongside Cookie Monster, Nina Dobrev and Jordana Brewster. She has performed at B Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and Caroline's Comedy Club. Megan is also musically talented and has studied drums with legends, Max Weinberg, Bernard Purdie, and Jazz vocals with Chico Mendoza. Megan writes music and plays piano, bass guitar drums and trumpet.
Brian Dives as Hafeez "The Oil Man"
Brian Dives discovered his love of acting while attending William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. As a student, he majored in Communications where he aimed for a career in Radio/Film Production. He has appeared in a number of theater productions across New Jersey and New York and has had a supporting role in the feature ﬁlm RENEGADE DARLINGS, p produced by Ringtail Motion Picture Productions and where he also played a character named Blackberry. Now living in New York City to pursue a professional career in acting, Brian has appeared in numerous ﬁlms, television programs, and print campaigns.
LJ Nelson as Makkai
Linwood Nelson Jr – “LJ”, is an aspiring young actor from Newark, NJ who has been acting for four years. He's worked with Hollywood legends like Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine and was hand-picked by Katie Holmes to film in her directorial debut "All We Had." LJ has filmed multiple projects with YouTube sensation Meir Kay and can be seen portraying a spelling bee student as part of Verizon's Mic Drop campaign.
LJ made his theatrical debut December 2015 in the musical "Calvin Speller Voyage." It was this experience that helped LJ decide that he wanted to perform on stage. Since this time he’s been cast as the little drummer boy in “Black Nativity”, and “Who Am I: Christmas Musical” but his most memorable stage performance was portraying Travis in “A Raisin in the Sun.”
Saladin Newark as Murad
Saladin Newark is an independent filmmaker/artist/poet. He has produced a number of feature films that he has also starred in with his partner and friend Middy Murdock. His films are "To Touch", "Nicknames", and "A Peace of the Action".
